Dr. Chenyang Wei joins the lab!

Chenyang will investigate associations between vegetation structure and the multiple dimensions of bird diversity.

Chenyang will work on the NSF-funded project to elucidate the relationships between 3D vegetation structure and avian diversity. He will use NEON and GEDI LiDAR data to quantify the multiple aspects of 3D vegetation structure, and explore how these vegetation indices drive taxonomic, functional, and phylogenetic avian diversity. We are excited to have him join our lab! Welcome, Chenyang!
